Granite State BMW Riders (#235)
Spring Resort, Junction of East Madison Road and Route 153, East Madison,
Come join us in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire during foliage season for our 21st “end of season” rally gathering held at the Purity Spring Resort. This is a relaxing, no effort rally. There will be a light supper Friday night; breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning; and a BBQ dinner Saturday evening. Saturday and Sunday breakfasts and Saturday night BBQ are provided by Purity Spring Resort and are included in the rally cost. There will be hot dogs and hamburgers available by GSBMWR on Saturday if one prefers to simply relax at the rally site on Saturday.
Explore the twisty back roads in the White Mountains, ride to the Maine seacoast to enjoy a lobster lunch (only 50 miles away), kick back at an outdoor cafe just minutes away in North Conway, take a ride on the famous Kancamagus Highway, take a leisurely day ride to Vermont, ride to the top of 6200 foot Mt. Washington or take a ride on the famous Cog Railway, take in some of the great notches of northern NH, or head out for a GS adventure on New Hampshire’s back roads. Some like to check out the microbreweries in North Conway or head out for lunch at Balsam's Resort in Dixville Notch. There's tax-free shopping in the nearby “outlet capital” of North Conway, NH, with outlet stores from L.L Bean, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, and many others. And don't forget all the motorcycle stuff (much at a discount) at the Whitehorse Gear warehouse just minutes away in East Conway, NH. So much riding, things to see and things to do… and so little time to enjoy it! At the end of the day after dinner join the group for a campfire each night where we kick tires and swap lies and have a hearty laugh.
Directions to the rally can be found here or here. GPS coordinates are: N43 51.971, W71 05.463. Upon arriving at the rally do not go to the Purity Spring Resort office on Route 153 to check in.
